Last week, AROBS had the honor to receive the certification for Romania’s Best Managed Companies offered by Deloitte for the opening year of the program in Romania. This prestigious designation represents a great recognition of our actions, and we are very proud of our AROBS team.

20+ Romanian entrepreneurial companies partook in the first edition of the Best Managed Companies Romania program. Nine received the certification, awarded based on an international methodology that assesses four pillars: strategy, culture, innovation resources, and governance. Best Managed Companies is a Deloitte Private program in partnership with Banca Transilvania.

Răzvan Gârbacea, the independent Board member of AROBS, represented us at the event. He stated: It is with great honor that I receive this certification on behalf of the team. For us, it is an extraordinary performance and a recognition of what the leadership quality that the team and we have managed to build means. It is also a recognition of what we made around our people, the team led by Voicu Oprean, CEO and founder of the company. We managed to create the culture that brought us somewhere in this position.

The nine companies received the certification from an independent jury consisting of Cristian Popa, a member of the Romania National Bank’s Board; Radu Hanga, BVB president; Cristian Nacu, a senior country officer at the International Finance Corporation and Nicolae Istudor, rector of the Academy of Studies Economic (ASE) Bucharest. Twenty-one companies with businesses between 10 and 75 million euros joined the program. Deloitte and Banca Transilvania advisors participated in 400 hours of sessions and workshops with the companies included in the Best Managed Companies Romania 2021 program.
