AROBS Systems, part of the AROBS Group, has won the contract with APIA to develop the Farmers’ Single Portal, the platform through which applicants will be able to submit and manage their support applications online. The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) is the institution through which farmers in Romania access the support schemes funded by European funds and the state budget, and this new project continues the company’s work in digitalising the public sector.

The contract for the Farmers’ Single Portal, worth approximately RON 70 million (excluding VAT), of which AROBS Systems’ share represents around 61%, means far more than just a portal. Over 24 months, our teams will deliver an integrated IT system: software licences, cybersecurity components, ICT equipment, application development and installation, testing and commissioning, and user training

For farmers, this initiative means fewer trips to APIA offices and less bureaucracy: support applications will be able to be submitted and tracked online, at any hour — a simpler, faster and more transparent experience, on a national scale.
