IoT for U x AROBS

On the 23rd of November young engineering talents of Targu Mures gather for a special hackathon – IoT for U organized by UMFST in collaboration with AROBS. Considering the fact that an entire business line in AROBS is dedicated to the software development of IoT products and systems, we wanted to support the ideas of future developers whom may become a part of our time some day.

The teams will have a maximum of 3 members. They will find out the topic of their creative software development on the day of the Hackathon.

Even more, they have to prepare for long hours of coffee sessions, cause the hackaton will take place between 9am and 8pm.

Embedded in Targu Mures

The almost 90 embedded engineers of #AROBSMures are an important part of the team, and they make up a great part of the automotive business line.. The company has over 950 AROBS professionals worldwide.  Since embedded is at the core of IoT, IoT for U is an welcomed event in the city that gives the young talens the chance to bring new ideas to life.

IoT and the local community

Targu Mures has a long tradition in engineering. Hence, this hackathon is an important event for the local community. It is building a bridge between the academic and private sectors. At the same time, it energizes the community. Therefore it creates a win-win situation for everybody engaged.
